Ron Mueck è un’artista australiano di origine tedesca, che dopo aver lavorato nel mondo degli effetti speciali per il cinema (tra i film cui ha collaborato c’è Labirynth) è entrato con le sue sculture in silicone nel mondo dell’arte.
Attualmente le sue opere – che rappresentano riproduzioni fedeli di corpi umani, ma ingigantiti e colti in momenti particolarmente delicati e intimi dell’esistenza – sono esposte a New York.
